Sunday is usually a family day for most families except Realtors… a sacrifice a Realtor needs to make to have a successful career. The Covid-19 has turned everyone’s lives upside down inside and out! 2020 has been the most challenging year for most around the world but one blessing in disguise for me personally is that I’ve had weekends off because I am unable to host open houses. Instead, I am able to schedule more weekday showings because people are no longer restricted to weekend showing because they are now working from home.
With this new found time I decided to order a DIY Miniature house kit which is going to take 40+ hours of my time to complete…. What was I thinking??? I thought it would be a fun project for my 7 year old to complete with some help from me but it’s extremely difficult to build, it’s time consuming and I am now the only person working on it (see photo of the miniature shelf I finished). I realized from this project that I am good at shopping for furniture, not making one! This project makes putting together an IKEA furniture like child’s play.
It’s a great project that will probably help with focusing and hand eye coordination… just not something a busy working mom can handle. It’s super cute so if you have the time, I highly recommend it.
A bench I made… the rest…. Lord help me…
